Overview
The Kokkonut 4.5 kg (10 lb) coco chips block is compressed 100% coconut husk chips. Soak it in warm water and it expands to about 50 quarts of chunky, springy chips, enough for dozens of orchid pots or a generous layer of mulch around beds and containers.
Why growers use it
- Washed to a low EC (0.5 mS/cm or less), near-neutral pH
- Chunky chips keep root zones open while holding water
- For orchids, aroids, monstera, hoya, bromeliads, semi-hydro, mulch and reptile enclosures
- Peat free and made from renewable coconut husk
How to use
- Put the block in a large tub
- Add 18 to 20 liters (about 5 gallons) of warm water
- Wait 30 to 40 minutes, then break apart by hand
