Coco Chips Bricks, 500 g Compressed Coconut Husk Chips
Overview
Kokkonut coco chips bricks are compressed 100% coconut husk chips, cut into chunky pieces that hold their shape. Soak a 500 g (1.1 lb) brick in warm water and it expands to about 0.25 cubic feet of loose, springy chips, an airy alternative to bark for orchids, aroids and succulents.
Why growers use it
- Washed to a low EC (0.5 mS/cm or less), near-neutral pH
- Chunky chips hold water yet leave plenty of air around the roots
- Hold their structure for a long time
- For orchids, aroids, hoyas, succulents, terrariums, mulch and reptile bedding
- Peat free and made from renewable coconut husk
How to use
- Place a brick in a bucket
- Add 1.75 to 2.5 liters (about half a gallon) of warm water
- Wait 30 to 40 minutes, then break the chips apart by hand
