Quantities are for expanded (soaked) coir. 1 cubic foot is about 30 quarts or 7.5 gallons.
Each 5 kg coco peat block expands to about 59 quarts and needs about 5 gallons of warm water. Each 650 g brick expands to about 10 quarts with about half a gallon of water.
