Orchid & Aroid Repot Kit: 2 Coco Chips Bricks and 1 Coco Peat Brick

Two coco chips bricks and one coco peat brick give you about 25 quarts of coconut coir to mix your own chunky blend. Use the chips on their own for orchids, or blend in the fine coco peat for aroids such as monstera, philodendron and anthurium that like a little more moisture.

What's inside

• 2 coco chips bricks, 500 g each (about 0.25 cu ft of chunky chips each)
• 1 coco peat brick, 650 g, OMRI Listed (about 10 quarts)

Mix ideas

• Orchids (phalaenopsis, cattleya, dendrobium): coco chips on their own, or 3 parts chips to 1 part perlite
• Aroids (monstera, philodendron, anthurium): 2 parts chips, 1 part coco peat, 1 part perlite
• Hoyas and other epiphytes: 2 parts chips to 1 part coco peat

How to use

1. Put each brick in a bucket with about half a gallon of warm water.
2. Wait 30 to 40 minutes, then break it apart by hand.
3. Mix to your recipe and repot. The kit fills about 10 to 15 medium pots.
